Buchanan General Contracting Company is a national leader in cell site installations.
We were an early player in telecommunications, working with Craig McCaw's Cellular One Corporation to develop and install their first cell site in 1986. With the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and subsequent service areas auctions, we ramped up our estimating division, management, and field crews to address the increased volumes of installations throughout the United States. A current overview of our company includes:
• Telecommunications contracts in excess of $142 million
• Completion of over 2000 cell sites by Buchanan and affiliates
• Bonding to $25 million
• Nationwide subcontractor and vendor sourcing
• Clients include AT&T Mobility, Ericsson, General Dynamics, Bechtel,
T-Mobile, Winstar, Sprint and Charter Communications
• Construction of AT&T Wireless Services' Northwest Regional Center
• Work territory encompassing the Western States, Texas, the
Midwest, and expansion plans for the South and the East Coast
Bundle and Network Installations Experience
Buchanan's estimating team, project managers, and field crews have the systems in place to handle bundled and networked installations. We have installed networks in St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, and Seattle, as well as a number of other sites around the country.
Fast Track Mobilization and Closeout Teams
Buchanan's extensive experience in multi-regional mobilization allows us to initiate projects rapidly, keep them on schedule, meet completion deadlines, and satisfy budget requirements.
