The Rainier Valley Food Bank is a multi-faceted renovation and new commercial construction of a 2-story building including a commercial kitchen, two levels of office space, a retail grocery space, a to-go food service counter, and volunteer locker room with adjacent bike parking.
Throughout construction, the Rainier Valley Food Bank had a temporary food village onsite so that daily food distribution for the community could continue. The Rainier Valley Food Bank serves residents with to-go on-site lunch distribution, in-home mobile food distribution, and pop-up food distribution sites around the Rainier Valley.
This project is LEED Certified, with funders requiring prevailing wage.
