Sand Point Cottage Community is a development of 22 cottages and a community building on a two-acre site adjacent to Seattleās Magnusson Park. Low Income Housing Institute was gifted use of this property by the City of Seattle for $1.00 a year. The cottages include a kitchen, bathroom, loft, and bedroom and are approximately 400 sq ft. Six of the cottages were to be built by trade schools but due to the pandemic only a few were completed at schools, the rest were modularly built with GC supervision.
